       Some cosplays will require the correct helmet or mask to properly express your cosplay. For example cosplays like Red Hood have different versions of the iconic helmet so there is no wrong choice in that aspect. The same goes for cosplays like Deathstroke being that there are multiple but similar types of his mask.

        However cosplays like Batman or the Power Rangers require the proper utilization of that particular character. Same concept goes for Iron man or Master Chief. Now again no cosplay has to be perfect. Also long as you have the right idea and people know who you are it doesn't gave to 100% accurate. Just always keep in mind what character you're doing and what you will need.
